INVOCATION:
Lord God Almighty:
It is a blessing to be a part of the Sons of the American Revolution, and to be here with other members of our chapter, members of the Ladies Auxiliary, and our welcome guests.
Bless, guide, and strengthen all who are here—not only in their personal lives, but also in their efforts to be of help and service to those in need. Accept as a part of our prayer today these words by C. D. Meigs from the hymn “Others”:
“Help me in all the work I do
To ever be sincere and true
And know that all I’d do for You
Must needs be done for Others.
Others, Lord, Yes others,
Let this my motto be,
Help me to live for others,
That I may live like Thee.” AMEN

Gene Nelson received the Daughters of Liberty Medal
from Awards Chairman John Camillo for her work for the chapter and Ladies Auxiliary.
