PICTURES from Brooksville Elementary School Awards Day - 2011

At the recent Brooksville Elementary School Awards Day, the Withlacoochee Chapter of the Sons of the American Revolution honored Micah Kahler and Illyanna Minetti, the first and second place place winners of the SAR Americanism Poster Contest, with the Outstanding Citizen Award certificates and the first and second place prizes of $75 and $50. Also honored were Brooksville school teachers, Heather Dancsak, Robin Bishop and Melanie Engle, who received Outstanding Citizen Award certificates in recognition of their support and encouragement to students in the Americanism Poster Contest depicting the Battle of Cowpens as an important event in American Revolutionary History.
