INVOCATION:
Lord God Almighty
Thank You, Lord, for another day, and for the opportunity to be together with our Compatriots, Families, and Friends. Thank you for the food You provided today for our nourishment and health. We thank You especially for our guests today. We pray they will have a safe and pleasant journey to their next destination, and we will see them again soon. We are indeed blessed by their presence with us today.
We know, Lord, that the greatest tragedy in life is not death--but that while alive and able we underutilize our gifts of time, energy, and capabilities to serve and help others. Help us, Lord, to be more sensitive to how we can help others, more committed to serving others, and more willing to be a part of Your blessings to others.
Lord God, thank You for all those giving themselves to the service of our country--particularly those serving in harm's way--to protect and defend us and our cherished freedoms and liberties. We entreat You, Lord, to bring them safely home to their families and friends.
As always, we pray GOD BLESS AMERICA THE BEAUTIFUL!
