President Ann Powers reads the following description of their "work": "Knitters Plus of Meadowcrest is a group of "caring women" that gather together once a week to try and help the community. , Having craft shows to raise money to give to local charities, bye yarn to make lap robes, for nursing homes, hospice, baby hats, for the local hospitals and specialprojects like items fo the Veterans Home at Christmas time."
