"The Chapter at Prayer"
Lord God,
We come to this place today with hearts filled with gratitude and joy.
We are grateful for Your many blessings that enable us to live in the United States of America with all the freedom, opportunity, safety, and peace we enjoy as citizens of this great country.
Lord, help us to remember each day that everything we have and find worthwhile is the result of the sacrifices and efforts of the men and women who are here today and those who have preceded us in history.
Lord, in the midst of the comforts and joys of the life we have today, help us always to remember, cherish, and honor those brave and generous family members, friends, and fellow Americans who have given months and years out of their life span, limbs from their bodies, and even their very lives to protect and defend us and all that we hold dear.
We thank you, Lord, that "Our Country 'Tis Of Thee,"
Please hear us, Lord, when we pray, "God Bless America." AMEN
